So we decided to spend a couple of days in Mallorca. The miserable Swiss weather pushed us south. Checking AirBnB for accommodation and reading through travel advice, there was only one place to go: Port de Sóller. I was thrilled as I remembered this picturesque port town from a previous sailing trip around the island with Martin. So I quickly texted Martin for some advice as he has been on the Island many times. Martins answer: “C u there”. With Paula he planned a stay in Port de Sóller at the same time as us. What a beautiful coincidence.
We had dinner on arrival day at the “El Pirata“. As we could not convince the two Latinos to join us for a hike the next day, we went on our own. The hike to Deià took 3 hours, led us to the Sóller lighthouse, through pine woods, along rustic paths down to Cala Deià. In between we had lunch at the beautifully located Finca Son Bleda. Unfortunately, we missed a crossing to finish the hike along the sea.
