Whyte Museum, Banff Springs Hotel and Bow River Walk

Since we started traveling in Canada, we have been lucky and the weather has been fantastic: blue sky and sunny.

Today we woke up to a very rare rainy day so it became a museum day!

The Whyte Museum of the Canadian Rockies told us the adventures of men and women who loved and explored the Rockies. We particularly liked the quote of Mary Warrem Schäfer.

As the rain stopped, we walked to the famous Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel and had a quick look inside and walked the back side of it right away to go to the Bow River Falls and the bridge to town. In every direction, a stunning view of the mountains and the river opens up to us!
