Zermatt, a short hike from Trockener Steg to Schwarzsee

Our 2-week long hike from Chamonix to Zermatt is over and we were pretty exhausted. But who could resist the power of the shining Matterhorn in the blue sky? Again we put on our hiking boots and headed for the mountains. After all, Zermatt is THE hiking/trekking destination!

After riding a Tele-cabin up to Kleine Matterhorn and having a sweeping view of all the mountains from Matterhorn to Breihorn to Weisshorn, we hiked from Trockener Steg towards Matterhorn. Such a closeup view of Matterhorn!
