Hike to Abbott Ridge and Marion Lake

Glacier National Park Read slowly – Illecillewaet. Yup. We stayed at the Illecillewaet Campground next to the Illecillewaet river bringing water down to the Illecillewaet valley from Illecillewaet glacier. 3 days and we still could not remember, left alone pronounce that name.

Giant Cedars Boadwalk, Revelstoke National Park

A walk through the deep temperate rainforest with thousands of giant cedar trees. Some of them are said to have over 500 years old. It reminded us of another beautiful forest of Yakushima, Japan, one of our favorite places.
