Exploring Täschalp: A Hidden Gem Hike Near Zermatt

Philippe sought a peaceful hike around Zermatt, opting for Täschalp to Täschhütte, savoring isolated trails with stunning views of the Weisshorn and Täschhorn. Despite tricky paths and variable weather, the experience remained rewarding. Returning along the river, they encountered hunters and climbers, culminating in a unique connection to nature.

Exploring Täschalp to Zermatt: Stunning Views Await

The trail from Täschalp to Winkelmatten offers breathtaking views of the Weisshorn and Matterhorn. Philippe and I previously hiked it toughly, but this time took a bus, enjoying sunshine and fewer hikers. We met fellow travelers from Australia and relished the scenic villages, sandwiches, and a terrace drink along the way.
